Flow in the Dark Workshop


LED and UV reactive flow props are an amazing way to mystify your audience at festivals, performances, and events or just to be funky at home. In our Flow in the Dark workshop, we'll cover flow prop styles and tricks that work best with glowing props. Hoops, Fans, Poi, and other flow props are welcome. Our hoop instructor, Lotus, will teach, offer pointers, and answer questions based on the prop you bring.  

We will have some extra hoops you are welcome to use, but we do recommend bringing your own if you are able to do so. We have a special discount for buying your own glow props and more information below.

As a bonus, We will have some face paint available and offer pointers for an amazing glow in the dark design, perfect to rock as a flow artist at our upcoming Halloween party October 27.

Prerequisite(s)
  • Ages 15+ or ages 12+ are welcome with coach approval.
  • No prior experience is needed. All levels are welcome.

Lotus recommends purchasing a Beginner Fitness Hoop to start. If you are having trouble deciding between sizes, check out the 2 in 1 Trainer hoop, as this option allows you to switch between two sizes to create space for different hoop flow. Once you are ready to advance your flow, we recommend moving into a "Grow with your Flow" polypro hoop to dive into your journey of hoop dance!
